Symptoms of a dodgy laser unit are that it puts the Cd down on the player, spins it, stops, spins it, stops, then puts the CD back. A similar problem (not spinning at all, or it plays then fails shortly afterwards) can be caused by the control pcb underneath the laser unit.  The exact same symptom can also be caused by dust on the laser eye and CDs if they haven’t been cleaned for some time.

I now repair the Laser Control PCB for Wurlitzer One More Time CD jukeboxes. Repair cost with postage (U.K.) is £65.00
